Bosio
BOSIO was founded in 1990 in Slovenia. The company consists of more than 65 qualified engineers, skilled workers and its own production, maintenance, development, project management, engineering, and marketing. It is producer of industrial furnaces and industrial washing machines. Main expertise is 3D mechanical design, optimisation of constructions (stress, deformation, vibrations, FEM). Also, company’s focus is at new renewable energy technologies gasifying (developed new gasifier reactor for horse farms) and wind (developed wind turbine using gases from furnace chimneys).

Main tasks and responsibilities within VULKANO
Within VULKANO project, the company Bosio will develop and manufacture the retrofitting solutions for an industrial hearth type furnace for drying of moulds. BOSIO will lead WP2 in which all the specification and team alignment will be performed for the properly execution of the project. BOSIO will be the main integrator of the solution and further exploitation partner towards furnaces retrofitting.
