VULKANO participates in the V International Conference on Contemporary Problems of Thermal Engineering

CIRCE develops two presentations of its technological solutions on the Vulkano project in this conference, held last September, in Gliwice, Poland.

The conference, in which experts from all over the world participate, deals with current problems and solutions about thermal engineering and the energy systems of the near future. CIRCE takes the opportunity to have a double participation by exhibiting solutions both for a new energy recovery system of change materials that it develops, and for a new internal holistic predictive tool.

On the one hand, it presents its ‘Computer-Aided Design for TES based on high temperature PCM that work with the flow of combustion exhaust gases from industrial furnaces installed in high energy consumption industries’, with which it is intended to improve performance of industrial furnaces implementing energy recovery solutions, increasing the thermal efficiency of the entire system, achieving maximum efficiency.

On the other hand, Vulkano also presents a ‘multicriteria analysis to optimize the modernization of fusion furnaces and develop a novel visualization tool for the energy intensive industry’.

These two technological solutions of the project are part of the main objective to increase overall energy efficiency in the intensive industry, reducing both the consumption of fossil fuels and the emissions of polluting gases.
