//VULKANO getting closer to the industry (Workshop in Madrid)

A first Specific Workshop of VULKANO project have been organised last November the 28th in Madrid. During the meeting, the latest project results and methods of their practical use have been discussed. VULKANO partners invited everyone interested to take part and share experiences.

The first VULKANO Specific Workshop mainly focused on presenting the current status of project results based on the retrofitting of two types of industrial furnaces on energy-intensive sectors – ceramic and steel, through the combined implementation of 5 key aspects into an integrated solution. VULKANO has as well developed a holistic in-house predictive tool that provides the necessary support to optimize the design of natural gas furnaces from the technical, economic and environmental points of view.
