//Thermal performance investigation on latent heat thermal storage for waste heat recovery from a high temperature gas flow in energy-intensive industries

CIRCE has participated in an international conference within the VULKANO framework, focused on its activity in heat recover and storage systems using PCMs.  The conference was organised on the 14-15 March, 2019, in the King’s Centre, Oxford, United Kingdom. The International Conference on Innovative Applied Energy (IAPE’19) provided a forum for both researchers and industrials to present and share their latest findings in all aspects of applied energy. IAPE international conference aimed to investigate innovation applications and last researches in the areas of energy production, alternative and renewable energy supply, energy savings analysis, optimization of energy processes and the environmental impacts of energy production. The energy resources consumption has doubled since the beginning of the century and the demand growth with the fast development in industrial and telecommunication sectors. To respond to the rising demand on energy resources, new efficient infrastructures for production, storage, transport and use of energy are necessary.

With reference to the conference’s objectives Patricia Royo Gutierrez delivered her presentation on Thermal performance investigation on latent heat thermal storage for waste heat recovery from a high temperature gas flow in energy-intensive industries.
